3rd XV 1964/65

Back: Pete Rogers, Rodney James, Stuart Robinson, Malcolm Barnham, Jeffrey Amis, Mr Woodhouse, Roger Postle, Paul Thane, Russell Stone, Richard Brown, Wally Gowing
Front: Jonathon Banham (?), Les Gapp, Steve Leeder, Brian Wheeler, David Bennett (Captain), Robin Bambridge, Chris Beech, Dave Riches, Ian Palmer

"The guy between Russell Stone and Wally Gowing is Richard E. Brown; resident of Norwich House!  We were close associates at the time. Dick was very skilled at metalwork and went on to Loughborough College if my memory is correct.  Along with everyone else, we lost touch - WC seemed to have that effect!" Jim Gathercole

"Back Left (1) is Pete Rogers, who usually played scrum half, and lived at Wells, where I spent a lot of time.  Front Row at the right end is Ian Palmer, and the other NK between Beech and Bennett is Robin Bambridge. They both played in the orchestra, and can be seen on that picture.  Between Barnham and Woodhouse is the youngest Amis, who I think was South and Gloucester.  Between Postle and Stone is Paul Thane.  Only one left on the front row, and I remember his face but not his name."  Chris Thatcher

"Brian Wheeler went to Cranwell and became a pilot in the RAF. He was with the Queens Flight for a time before working in the Gulf."  Bish Barnham
