"In 1967 I played for England Schools and in 1969 I played for Rosslyn Park and Eastern Counties while at St Luke's College Exeter.  I played over 200 matches for Rosslyn Park (first team) in the sixties seventies and the early eighties and also played for Surrey but never, alas, the full England side.  I did once play for 'Old England' prior to an international in France and got legless in the cellars of Moet Chandon - all paid for by the French Rugby Union.... but that is another story!"  Howard Bambridge
